In the recent special feature of President of India's question in Yahoo answer there are more than 15000 response. Each response have received both Thumbs up and down rating. I observed the no. of thumbs down is much more than thumbs up.
In the first ten pages there are total 3468 thumb up and 3504 thumbs down rating. The initial answer are given by famous people. If I leave the rating of first 15 respondents aside the rest of answers counts are thumbs up - 1332 and thumbs down - 2364.
This also indicates that we are open to appreciate famous people but not ready for the normal people.
What's your opinion ?

People are jealous of others success. They, therefore, do not appreciate others achievement. People do appreciate the achievement of unknown strangers as they cannot express their jealousy to them.

Rather than respecting each other for what ever he or she is. So also let us appreciate the question and our interaction with the question. I think that the very fact that answers have poured in, reflect victory to democracy in our country. We the people have no barrier to interact with each other.

A sad fact of life. The truth is the only thing separating famous people from normal is a four letter word... Fame... Famous or not the reality is people are people. They put their pants on one leg at a time just like the rest...

At least with that question we know the difference between real people and fake, famous people. In the real world its not the views of the average person that counts.
Our leaders "AMM ADMI" policy is just vote bank and does not mean anything, ask West Bengal farmers and you have your answers.
Power for the high and mighty, unemployment and poverty for the rest.
