Even Tony Hawk falls once in awhile...There's nothing wrong with falling down your first time or your tenth time as long as you learn what you did wrong so you can improve
Make sure your wearing the proper safety equipment

Of course
When you first go to a skatepark, your probably learning the basics, rolling around on the ramps for the first time may or may not be hard for you.
But i will tell you this, no matter who you are, when you try to do something new, chances are you'll fall a couple times before you get it.
I skate, so when im on my board and rolling up the a set of stairs i've never done before, i usually fall... alot
I know youve probably heard it before, but practice makes perfect, especially when your doing something like skating or biking.
Everytime i try a new trick, i fail miserably over and over till eventually, i try enough that i get it.
All you gotta do, is go back to that skate oark more often, and you'll slowly get better.
Also, work your way up, start with the smaller, easier stuff first, and then work your way up to the more intermediate stuff.
Those two things are the best advice anyone can give you for skating or biking, or any Extreme sport.
So go practice, slowly working your way up
You'll get it if you try

Yeh, Iv'e taken some younger kids up the jumps because they wanted to go after watching Dave Mirra on EX tv e.t.c. They always started off doing the biggest jumps (because thats what Dave Mirra does!) even though they couldn't pull a manual, bunny-hop, or even get the hang of pedalling really hard in order to hit jumps fast.
Crashing is a good thing, it sorts the men from the mice, it eliminates the 'fear' of wiping out, if you wear some basic armour, it virtually never hurts too bad. Crashing also tells you your current skill limit, if you tried something and crashed, then you obvsiously aren't that good yet!
You will notice if you ever watch pro bmx'ers at a real event that they are sooooo much better at bailing out - way before it even looks to your average rider like they got it wrong. They almost always land on their feet, the art of crashing is just as important as the art of 'stunt riding'.
Keep it up!

Yes. Make sure that you and your equipment are in the best shape. Always wear safety gear properly and use the correct techniques. Remember your most important equipment is your brain and a lot of common sense.

Yes - and the less cautious you are, the more you'll get hurt.
