Well, I have had migranes since I was very little and about 5 days ago I got another one. Today I have been getting dizzy, feeling sick to my stomach and my body gets shaky as if I am going to collapse. I was just wondering if that was a side affect of the migrane. I have never felt this way before and it worries me.

yes they could be. You could also have symptoms like blurred vision(things will look like a kaleidoscope), eyes will pulsate, and sometimes parts of your body will go numb. Migraines are nasty. I've had them since i was 11 years old. I'm 24 now.

Yes, my doctor gives me anti-nausea medication right along with my migraine meds. If I were you, I would get to a doctor or at least talk to an er nurse. This sounds like something else if you've never experienced it before. Anxiety (panic) attacks can do that, blood pressure, poisoning, etc. I might even consider carbon monoxide poisoning. Call someone.

Symptoms of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Low levels of carbon monoxide poisoning can be confused with flu symptoms, food poisoning or other illnesses and can have a long term health risk if left unattended. Some of the symptoms are the following.

Shortness of breath
Mild nausea
Mild headaches
Moderate levels of CO exposure can cause death if the following symptoms persist for a long measure of time.

Headaches
Dizziness
Nausea
Light-headedness
High levels of CO can be fatal causing death within minutes.

Remember that you do not need to be displaying ALL symptoms of CO poisoning to be suffering from it.

Yes, After I had my second child I used to have migraines so bad each month I would vomit! When I stopped the birth control pill they lessened to only a few each year. I had taken them for over 10 years but something changed after my second (and last ) pregnancy. Sometimes hormones can do it, sometimes it can be something much more. Do you have other symptoms? Do you have the flu? visit www.flufacts.com to see if you may just have the bug! If your not feeling better in a day or so, or you feel worse go see a doctor! Get to a quiet dark room and try to sleep through it! Good Luck! =)

I had problems with migraines for about 15 years and I did get dizzy, nausea and sometimes I got shaky. If you are worried about your symptoms, I would definitely see a doctor. They have wonderful medications nowdays that can help with migraines and they do help with the symptoms.

Everytime I have a migraine I throw up. But what is odd is that you've had them for a long time and you didn't know that. It makes me think something else is going on...You might want to have a Dr. check you out. Make sure there are no tumors or anything. At least you'll have peace of mind. Good Luck.
