I am friends with a guy at work. He has a good heart and sometimes females take advantage of him. They ask him to buy them something like lunch or a drink. They are just cheap and figure he'll just do it! I fuss at him about wasting time with triffeling people. I think he gets the messege because I haven't seen this happen in a while now.
Last night, he was talking to me. I mentioned that I didn't like Renita. I don't like ppl who just call their rudeness teasing. So I don't like her. I said I didn't join the conversation because of that reason. Later, he asked...well can I talk to Lindsey? I happen to like Lindsey because she is always prepared for work and has her own money for lunch. She is a hard worker and I admire her. I told my guy friend "Yes, you can talk to Lindsey!"
Oddly, his question makes me sound possessive. I realize we all have other friends. I just want him to have quality friends. Not beggy little spoiled brat friends! (Girl 1 and 2)

IS MY BEHAVIOR POSSESSIVE?

I don't think your behavior is possessive, but he might think he needs your permission to talk to other women.

That could mean several things. It might mean he feels more attachment to you than you apparently feel to him. You need to see if he has a different view of the relationship than you do, and correct him it that view is wrong.

sweetie i think whether you know it or not you got a crush on him thats why it bothers you. he's a big boy and he nneds to get more experience so let him go and get some now if you realize you love him don't stay quiet go for it before you're sorry if you truely discover you don't have any " extra special " feelings for him besides friendship then stand back let him learn which he will and well be ready to be his hanky when he comes crying to you good luck

i dont think so, your just tryin to look out for the guy, you dont want ppl treating him like a doormat but also tell him he can talk to whoever he wants too, you dont seem like the possesive type they dont care if there controlling someone's life and you seem to have a good heart too and just want to do the right thing by a friend!!!

I think he just wanted your opinion . If she is how you described her, it would take him long to fugure her out.
