Is it possible the married/engaged couples on Eharmoney are getting married are taking big steps because, the matching process on the site is so slow that the minute they see someone they get along with they just jump on the opportunity and marry them?

Could it also be that these people are soo into the thought of marriage that they are just quicker to jump the gun the minute the system spits out someone who they get along with and cant help but to think to marry them?

Do u know of anyone who met on Eharmony who have been married for 5 years and more?

I don't know of anyone who has had sucess with Eharmony. I am sure there are plenty, but I don't know of one. You might inquite at the site itself.
I don't think the people on Eharmony are so marriage minded that they will just hook up and marry any old goog just to get married. I tried it once with a few other dating sites when I moved to a new state, and personally I was not remotely attracted to anyone they hooked me up to. It was just not the site for me. So even though I got plenty of people to choose from it made no difference as I didn't want even one of them. Not bad guys...mind you...just not my type.
I do think that people on Eharmony are more serious about finding a longlasting relationship, because they have to answer a hell of a lot of questions to get that profile right. Anyway, I think you might want to ask them on the site about their sucesses. They are trying to sell a product...so if they have a five year or more marriage, they will want to tell you about it.

And in responce to number 2...Dr. Phil is on Match.com not Eharmony.

My cousin actual met his spouse on eharmony. His first marriage led to divorce and he wasn't chuffed, at the same time as push got here to shove, like he become gazing for to be. His new spouse is dazzling, a lot more suitable personable than his first, and he or she is a a lot more suitable experience for him, in my opinion. they have been married for 9 years now and private some organizations mutually as well. they're certainly going good.

I was on E-harmony. I found out they match you with people who don't even have a current subscription. And then when when the do match you and you start communication, it is as slow as molasses, asking questions back and forth before you can truely open communication. I do however know someone who has been married just short of 5 years who found their mate on
E-harmony. I've found better luck on yahoo personals and match.com

I wouldn't know, but I find all dating/marriage websites a little bit questionable. Even when I was lonely I don't think I tried a dating service website. It just seems wierd to me, with no offense to those who do or who found someone special through one- it's just not for me.

I think that anybody who marries someone they haven't yet met or spent real time together with is doing it for the wrong reasons, that's for sure.

I don't know, but the commercials are a little creepy.
No, I don't know anyone from there who's married, at all.
But I know a couple married as a result of a chat room, 6 years now.

I honestly think that anyone who uses Eharmony uses it because they're not able to get a date themselves, so they pay a company to find a date for them. I would profile someone who used that website as someone who didn't have much confidence and obviously wasn't charming enough to get a date in the real world.
