i'm mixed and have gone through a similar problem. basically you just have to wait for your hair to grow out a little more so i would say get it in braids for a while to help the process, while keeping your hair moisturized. it you're brave cut it really short and the process will go faster...

Are you trying to get a natural look.... or do you really want to be natural.. I'm confused with speak of natural and texturizer in the same sentence.. Because a texturizer is a relaxer in a weaker form.

Wash your hair then while it is wet braid it tightly in plats( with )the gel like stuff called Jam on it let it dry over night.. then comb it out with a wide tooth comb...it should be a style that will last and be shiney and healthy looking

can u get a straw set? or some knots, braids twists, those fake dreads are good too for transition, u know when u braid ur natural hair and buy the kinky extensions and wrap them tight around the braids so it looks like dred loc

Try Mixed Chicks products. You apply wet and air dry. They eliminate frizz.
