Condolences on your loss.
I dont believe its fair to blame God for death, because the Bible clearly shows that He is not to blame. Is the Creator really so cruel that he would callously inflict death on us, knowing that this breaks our hearts? No, not the God of the Bible. According to 1Â John 4:8, “God is love.” Note that it does not say that God has love or that God is loving, but it says that God is love. So intense, so pure, so perfect is God’s love, so thoroughly does it permeate his personality and actions that he may rightly be spoken of as the very personification of love. This is not a God who takes people in death to be near him.
Knowledge of the resurrection hope coupled with knowledge of the One who is the source of that provision can comfort you. Jesus promised: “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) Heaven, hell, purgatory, Limbo—these and various other destinations range from being incomprehensible to being downright terrifying. The Bible, on the other hand, tells us that the dead are unconscious; they are in a condition best compared to sleep. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10; John 11:11-14) Thus, we need not worry about what happens to us after death, any more than we worry when we see someone sleeping soundly. Jesus spoke of a time when “all those in the memorial tombs” would “come out” to renewed life on a paradise earth.—John 5:28, 29; Luke 23:43.

God does not want anyone to die. Therefore, immediately after sin and death entered into the world in the garden of Eden, he made a provision for humans to be able to have life again through 2 separate resurrections. The first resurrection is giving life to all those who will reign as Kings and Priests with Christ in heaven. (The Bible calls these the "little flock"). The second resurrection will include both righteous and unrighteous ones who are alive in God's memory (a "great crowd") and they will be resurrected with the same memories and personality but with perfect physical bodies and minds. He is a loving God and he so feels the pain that you are experiencing. He wants you to trust him and love him. It is just a little while longer and you will see your sister again and she will never be sick again.

I understand how you feel. The death of a love could be the most painful thing ever happen to every man. But we should understand that no one is immortal here on earth. Everyone has to depart according to the time frame God given us. For every human being that died, his/her soul will return and under the care of the Lifegiver. When right time come all souls will live again to face judgement.
My impression is, it hurt you because you prayed and God did not let your sister live. Its hurts you because you did not get what you expect from God.
But He has His own plan, that we may not able to understand that only faith and time can only tell.
I hope the following verses comfort you.
Isaiah 57:1
The righteous perishes,
And no man takes it to heart;
Merciful men are taken away,
While no one considers
That the righteous is taken away from evil.
Luke 2:29
"Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace,
according to your word;

hello, first of all brother you said you are a christian. i want to ask u in what way are u a christian. u have not obeyed what God said. in the complete bible Jesus(pbuh) never claimed divinity. there is not a single unequivocal statement in the complete bible where Jesus says "I am God" or where he says "Worshp me", instead he said " My Father is greater than I."The Bible, John 14:28, and also he said) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]. then can he be GOD. first u must try to understand the concept of God in christianity. And God always listens to u. whether u call thru your tongue or ur heart. he is All hearer and All Knower of Everything. even the minutest atom on the earth. Allah says this life is a test for the hereafter. Allah created us the life and death to test which of us is best in our deeds. so Allah took ur sister away because her test time was over. suppose few students are writing an exam and time is over and the bell rings. the teacher will snatch away the papers, isnt it? similarly when the test of this life is over she is taken, he does without being unjust. may be she was about to face a calamity in this world so before that God took her. she will get her result on the day of Judgement. we cannot say who will pass or who will fail. it is only our creator who will analyze all this on the day of Judgement. hope u understand.
Allah says "invite all to the kingdom of thy lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching". so i invite u dear frnd to accept the true path. and learn your own religion as well as other religions u will come to know who is the true God. who is the creator.
4 criteria's to test ur God
1)He is one and only
2)He is absolute and eternal.
3)He begets not nor is he begotten.
4)there is none comparable to Him.
put ur God to this test, if the God u worship passes this then we have got no objection to accept Him as a true God.
remember Jesus (pbuh) was human, he was crucified acc to some christians, and he was not the one and only human, there were many messengers who came before him. and he was human , had two hands, two eyes a nose etc.

I understand, realy I do, I just lost someone a year ago on Dec.15th and she was very dear to me.Read 1Corinthians 10:13
It is saying the temptation that come in your life is no different from what others experience, but God is faithful He will keep you
you during this time of your sorrow, so stay a christian, and the Lord will help you, and if your sister was saved as well as you are
you will see her again. Keep praying God do hear you, sometimes He answers us but we just can't receive the answer,
you will be alright, and I will be praying for you each day that the Lord will bless and keep you lifted up in Him.

God gave her the ultimate healing possible, she will never hurt again.
our bodies are only temporary, we know that we start dying the day we are born. it's the process of this temporary life. but would you rather her stay here and hurt, or go away for a while and feel peace? you will be together again.
EDIT:
I recently lost my 21 year old niece, I don't even have the words to explain how much I miss her.. it goes beyond words. my heart is so broken. but I know that she is only away from me for a short time, I will see her again. I too prayed for her healing, and one day I was thinking "why". why is she gone? why didn't God heal her? I had prayed so hard! and then it hit me, I got what I asked for.. I asked God to take away her suffering and make her whole.. God DID answer my prayer, he took her to a place where she will never have to endure pain again. he took her home. my broken heart is only temporary, one day we will reunite..
I still miss my niece, and like you, I have cried everyday for the last 10 months since her death (she died March 2006). but I wouldn't bring her back to suffer ..just to ease my pain. and I don't think you would either. I'm not that selfish.. but I will go to her one day and it comforts me knowing that it's only a short while that we are apart.
take comfort in knowing where she is and knowing that she has completely healed.
God Bless you.

I have had that feeling too. I have lost both parents, my brother, lost my youngst child, divorced after 24 years of marriage, diagnosed with diabetes. Yeah...I have this question too. BUT, what gives me the most comfort is knowing that it isn't over I WILL SEE THEM AGAIN !! And the next time I see them will last forever, How long is forever? Picture this: A bird flys down from Heaven to Earth ONCE EVERY THOUSAND YEARS. That bird picks up ONE grain of sand and flys back to heaven. How long would it take that bird to get every single grain of sand on planet earth?? One grain every thousand years and get them all... Heaven will last longer than that. In Heaven everything will be perfect. No pain, no sadness, no ailments, no worries. All will be perfect. We have to get to Heaven to experience it. A person gets to Heaven by believing in God and living the way we're supposed to. God's ways aren't our ways and we don't always understand why things happen as they do. Consider that almost everybody that was born before 1900 is dead now. Nobody lives forever. Even Gods own Son, Jesus died. But, Jesus rose from the dead. Death couldn't hold Him and He arose to Heaven. We are going to do the same thing. Time will help heal you. Talking to others helps. The pain will never fully go away but it will get less. God knows what He's doing. He has something good in store. Trust Him. Go to Church. Talk to your minister. Join a group. Things will get better. Go to a Christian book store and check out the book "Why God Lets Bad Things Happen To Good People" It will help. Remember- You WILL see her again.

First, God is not a person who sits on a throne somewhere on a cloud deciding who to mess with when she feels like it.
God is a verb not a noun. God is the power of LOVE.
Your sister had her own purpose here independent of you or anyone else. Maybe her purpose was finished. Be happy for her. Maybe her purpose was to get you to ask these questions?
Give thanks that you got to spend the time with her. She was a very advanced soul and only agreed to be her because it was not for along time. She sends her love and says she's in a better place.

Well every bad or good happens because its God will. Some times he puts trials in our life to see how much we love him. It hurts us because we are human. The only best thing you can do is always but God in your life first and pray never stop believing in him because he is the alpha and the omega. Your beautiful sister in heaven where she belongs. You will be in my prayers God Bless!

On this side of Eternity we do not have all the "answers" & there are many "theories" that can be "presented" in regards to your situation. Please accept my condolences for your temporary separation from your beloved sister.
I am sure you will agree with the psalmist: Ps 119:82 -My eyes fail from searching Your word, Saying, "When will You comfort me?"
However beloved, take heart:
Ro 15:4 -For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
2Co 1:6 -Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
Ro 8:25 - But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
1Th 4:13 - But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
The Lord does things by HIS will & not ours. Sometimes His will can be very difficult to understand, (especially the why of it) but our love of Him & all that He has done for us, should cause us to hold fast no matter what the circumstance.
So many during Christ's time here on Earth did not understand why our Savior had to suffer & die to such terrible extremes, yet we that live in these times can surely "see" many of the reasons for His perfect sacrifice for OUR sins.
If your sister was a Christian, then take heart for she is absent from the body, but present with the Lord! A far better place to be. For us that remain, it is going to be a difficult time of tribulations which we must endure, for that is our path.
Jesus NEVER said that following Him would be easy, or filled with peace & good times...but rather He said: Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Do not allow the enemy to overtake you with his lies & with grief for your beloved sister, have faith you will see her again!!
Ro 5:3 -And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us
Keep on reading the Scriptures, & allow the Lord to comfort you with His everlasting words of Love...He is FAITHFUL !
Joh 14:18 - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
The Lord loves us all so very much...just keep seeking His answers in His Word....he WILL comfort you!
