There certainly could be a warrant out for your arrest. You will need to check with the courts with jurisdiction over the citations to see if they have goen to warrant. If so, go to court and get the warrants cleared. Most courts, at least here in California, will not arrest you if you appear of your own accord to deal with minor violations.
Next, consider your options.
Are you willing to go to jail to 'pay off' the fines. Many places allow you to pay off your fines by serving jail time at a set rate per day (for example, you might pay off $150 worth of fine for each day in jail).
If jail is not for you, consider community service options. Many courts will let you pay off your fines in community service hours.
If neither of those work for you, you can always try to get an extension on your fines.
Whichever you choose, don't wait to deal with the situation. If you do, you may end up in jail whether you want to or not.

I remember way back in the late 60's I got a traffic ticket in NYC while visiting there. Since I was leaving for home the next day, I asked at a precinct station what to do about the court date on it. He said to stay out of NY for 3 years, and keep it for a souvenir!
So, if it's minor stuff, then yeah, they may have a warrant out for you, but they aren't going to chase you around the country for a couple misdemeanors. There's always a limit on that stuff, so I'd check on that to be safe. Could be 3 years, could be 5 or more. You say the tickest are from MD, but you don't say how far from there you live. If you're in VA or NJ or something, you could have problems staying away.

There probably is a warrant out for you, but you are pretty low on the priority list. Stay out of trouble and you probably won't get picked up.
You can call the Clerk of Court in your jurisdiction and see if they still have a record of your citations and what fines you owe.
You should try to take care of this, most employers now at least do a local police records check on possible employees. They're not going to hire someone with an outstanding warrant hanging over them.

The DMV should have your record which includes additional fines.
you wont go to jail with just three tickets
go to the dmv get a printout of the money you owe.
pay it before it goes to collection { if it hasn't already)and your credit is ruined.
you wont be able to renew your registration in some states if you have outstanding tickets, so check this out on the dmv website or call them
dont worry -- pay and you will be free!
Good luck

on your tickets, there should be a number you can call to find out. call that. you might have a warrant out, but since its traffic they wont hunt you down as long as you start paying on them you should be ok

at last, you would be picked up on a warrant. there will be greater courtroom value and yet another day in courtroom. yet you would be large; won't value you a dime. do only the time. approximately 5 days or 40 hours of community provider. yet lots greater possibly they are going to easily grab your tax refund...

If you contact the law department for the city that the tickets are from, they will work out a payment plan for you.
