Well, it is going to haunt you. No matter what employers say about felonies not exactly affecting whether or not you get a job. People are still going to be a little wary about hiring someone who has a felony on their record. All you can do is try though. You have nothing to lose. I'm sure it will be hard, but the more you let it get you down, the harder it will be. Just try your hardest to get the job you want. You'll eventually get it. :) Good Luck!!

Yes, you are still a good young man at least you will feel guilty over what you have done. You are still young, give yourself some time. I know you need a job, probably you can get a job through welfare's help or conceal the felony when you are looking for a job cos all employers are the same. They never believed you have changed for the better unless you met those who have conscience. Trust me you can still start all over again. I am 1 good example.

i think you should try your hardest to start over and i believe that you have learned your lesson you are 22 and you did this when you were 18 so i say good luck and keep trying it will come to you, all i can say is good luck and if it were me i would give you a chance, because i believe most people should get one and only one depending on what they do and i hope you don't mind me asking you just said a felony for robbery and i was just wondering why you think that you are not worth starting over but then again there is people out there not willing to give you a shot ............. but there is also people who are willing to give you a shot you just have to want it and try hard and never give up good luck hope you find something soon ........

22 is way young. The felony thing will haunt you. I'm sorry for that. I don't know what dire situation you were in to do such a thing, but if you are sincere about having a good life, things will work out for you. You just have to try a little harder than most people. Good luck.

well if you can try to hide it because if you work for a company they will think because of your history you're still the same and try to steal something. but i think there are a lot of people that believe in second chances so you can get a good job if you come across those keep but be aware they will keep a close eye on you for a while until they trust you. then you can steal again for a while until you get caught and thrown back in jail again.

You have to understand that yes, you screwed up, but I am sure you paid your debt to society for it too. So go for the college degree, go for the big jobs, but don't let it get you down if your are turned away a few times.

You are not going to have it as easy as most other people, but with a college degree, you can still make something of yourself as long as you are hard working and determined.

If you get really good degrees, employers will overlook the robbery.
