When we get on a elevator or elsewhere he put his arm around me....he asks if i want to eat lunch together every other day......sticks up for me and smiles when he sees me.....so what do you think?

The obvious would seem that he likes you but there are a lot of other things to consider. Like maybe he just wants to do you. Which is the biggest mistake that girls make.
