The info. is that all Americans will go to demonstrate on Jan. 27th!!!!

There are a number of actions that are being planned to respond to Bush's speech tomorrow about the "surge" (the increase in troop levels by some 20 or 30,000). This is an important series of protests as well as a great way to publicize the protest on January 27th. Please do consider attending any of these actions. If there are others that you know of, please post here!
Thursday actions in the Bay Area:
12:00 Noon: MoveOn Rally at SF City Hall
3:00 pm -- World Can't Wait action at 670 Davis St (military recruitment station in San Francisco)
5:00 pm -- ANSWER protest at Powell and Market (SF)
5:30 pm -- Labor Committee for Peace and Justice is doing actions at North Berkeley, Berkeley, and Fruitvale BART stations (East Bay)
6:00 pm -- Code Pink/ Global Exchange/ UFPJ action at Montgomery and Market (SF)

Wow! How do I get involved, what are we protesting, the libs taking over Congress? Where do we get our signs....
I think it is headed towards the freeway if I'm not mistaken.
