Throw a Trash Can Party!
Buy a ton of clear liquors and wines and pop and throw it all together in a large plastic container like a bucket, or trash can, serve it in cups like punch. Or you just tell everyone to bring their own clear liquors and wines, allot easier on the pocket.
Or just get different flavors of Bacardi rum, along with some different varieties of Smirnoff vodka. And buy a case or two of beers.
Give the Party a theme, costume, toga, 90's, 70's, something like that.
For games, drinking games, beer pong, Kings, Twister, Blurt stuff like that. However most people don't play games untill fairly intoxicated so don't have them laying around ready to play at the beginning of the night, leave them on a table or shelf and perhaps suggest one of them after a few hours. If you have a PS2 the EYE TOY games, and Guitar Hero are usually a big hit.

Buy a basic assortment - sweet and sour mix, whiskey, tequila, and vodka. orange juice is a must, for screwdrivers and tequila sunrises. You may also want to spring for a jug of margarita mix - you can make those up by the pitcher and serve more than one person at a time. It helps to keep the alcohol together to set up a bar with all the supplies (minimizes mess for later, too) - even if it's just a plastic folding table with a tablecloth. Make sure you have beer (light and regular) for those who don't drink hard liquor, and a non-alcoholic option for those who choose not to drink at all - sodas and extra juice with sparkling water are a good bet. Mixing up a signature drink can be fun, too - my personal favorite is the Jolly Green Giant, which is one shot of apple pucker, one shot vodka, and one shot Hypnotiq liqueur with 3 shots sweet and sour mix, then shaken. You can make a pitcher of those as well. As for making the party fun, try to have good music, keep the TV off (unless it's for a football game or some such), and provide some kind of stimulating activity - card games are always fun, especially when drinking - Spades for four people, UNO for a bunch (UNO Attack is especially fun with drunk people; I know this from experience). You can also play specific drinking games, like Bullsh*t. And, not to give you a lecture, but designate drivers and confiscate keys at the door...LOL :)

Are you old enough to drink?
When I have a party I like to keep a cooler full of beer and soda and then make one kind of drink. I usually do something that I can make in a punch bowl. It is easier and less expensive.
Try the websites below... they have good recipes.

i get very loud and outrageous when drunk, some people find me funny and others find me really annoying. it's just a matter of opinion! i don't find my 'reputation' has ever been affected negatively.

Vodka and juices are always safe, tequila is fun as long as you spring for good tequila. Make sure you have good music, plenty of plastic cups and ice, oh and t.p..
