What causes a sty in ur eye?
I got one and I wanna know how it got there!

possibly dirt/bacteria. Go to Eckerds or CVS and go to the section by eyedrops. There is medication for it my neice got it once and it worked immediately.

It can be ur eye liner, there was an open pore and it got cloged. I would throw away ur eyeliner, dont touch ur eye or around it for a few days and make sure u keep it clean. If it doesnt get any better in about a week i would go to the doctor. Im a make up artist so i hear ALOT of cases of stys from eyeliner or mascara's.

Basically it is an irritation caused by a clogged duct. Most importantly you can prevent them and treatment is easily available at any pharmacy. There is a product called Sty it is a cream you apply to the affected eye to clear the sty. Once it is gone a routine of gentle washing of the eyelids with a warm cloth and baby shampoo will keep them from reoccurring.

Me too and it hurts really badly. If you type in "bump on the eye" on answers, you will get a lot of other answers to this question because it was asked previously.

It's dirt that plugs your tearducks, or causes an irritation in the lining of your eye.
