If you dumped a guy but then called him a week later and he talked to you and wanted you back but then all of a sudden went cold (not calling you back after you called him a couple of times). Would your interest level rise because he is more of a challenge? Or would you move on and not worry about it. I need honest answers......Is it more of a challenge if he seems like he is over you? This girl is calling me a lot but she dumped me and hurt me so I am reluctant to talk to her anymore. Although initially I did tell her we should work on the relationship.....

depending on the length of time you dated and how serious you two were, there might be one of two things going on..
1. She legitmately misses you. I don't think dumping someone is ever completely easy, even if you want to or its the right thing to do. But just because she may miss you doesn't mean she necessarily wants you back.
2. If things weren't that serious, I would say this girl is just playing a power game. I think all girls at some point have wished that their ex would ask for them back even if we had no intention of saying yes. Its about being desired and having power over a guy. She may be making a point to keep you thinking and wondering about her so that she remains incontrol of your relationship.

Well you have an issue boys and girls are going thru all over the world---lessons in life and the emotions you feel are normal. Keep the dumper as a friend to say HI to--but find another nice respectful girl to date. If the dumper can't get that she is a low class immature girl--she soon will discover that she is living wrong. Next time she calls say " HI__I'M BUSY< THANKS> gotta go--bye. Working on a relationship??? What relationship---you never had a relationship with her. Grow up and get a grip om reality and MOVE ON. Welcome to the world of young love.

I think I would give up. I'm not the type of girl to chase after a guy and I won't put myself out there if they're not receptive or willing to do their part. I'd stop calling and if I didn't hear from him I'd give up and try my best to move on, hard as it may be. Don't tire her out. Tell her what's going on.

I would probably just leave it. It definitely wouldn't raise my interest. But if she's still calling maybe she feels guilty. You neec to make up your mind if you can trust her again, and want to be with her. If not, just tell her. If you do, you should respond, because she'll go cold too after a while.

Just be honest with her.

Honesty is the best policy!!

And don't play games by not calling her. It won't work in your favour. If you want to talk to her & work on the relationship then TALK TO HER!

If a girl dumped me,that's the end of her.I am not gonna get in to her emotional game. I bet she is seeing others too,,,there is no available then she'd get back in to you,,,I would see other girls if I were you.

i would feel really bummed. and i'd probably think that he didn't like me, which would make me less likely to go out with him.

playing hard to get just doesn't work with girls. don't do it. girls are too emotional, and will only be hurt by your actions, not turned on or challenged.

I would move on. Girls take it that you don't want them if you don't talk to them. Just be honest with her. Otherwise you'll lose her for good.
