Well reading the Bible will prevent you from having to deal with the eternal case of diaherra for all those destined to hell.
Also, reading the Bible will lift your spirits and perhaps keep you seated a little longer on the throne. Therefore, you would not have to worry about running back and forth.
But prayer may be a good way. I have found myself praying many times when I having troubles similar to yours.

I have no idea what the 5hits are (sounds like toilet trouble), but the bible has never caused anything but confusion and pain. It would just give you more of the same. Try some Immodium AD and read something worthwhile.

Man reading the bible always makes me feel like a nervous sinner. So in my case...no it wouldnt cure the shits but cause them. You could always pray to the Immodium god of blockage and solidity. heheheheheeh
