John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only BEgotton Son that whosoever belieth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." so simple, but so powerful. it sums up the whole story/truth in one amazing verse. Thank u God!!!

It is by grace you are saved through faith; not by good works so that no man may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

My fav. becuase it seperates catholics and christians. We're suppose to follow the bible yet SOME cath's beleive that through good works you are saved. And it's not by the grace of God you are saved through the faith in Jesus Christ (pbuh) I love this verse

Exd 21:7-8 "And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do. If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her."

what this means is that i can make a lot of money by selling my daughter. it is better that selling drugs! at least it is legal to the eyes of the lord.

Bhagavat Gita Bhakti Yoga Chapter 12 verses 13,14,15 where Lord Krishna declares the qualities of his dear devotee.

13. He who hates no creature, who is friendly and compassionate to all, who is free from attachment and egoism, balanced in pleasure and pain, and forgiving . . .

The context tells us that grass represents men and flowers their glory.
