40 minutes x 2 miles based on time may equal = 1.5 hours roughly x 3 x a week = 4.5 hours a week plus the eating healthy (based on calories is (celery, apples, radishes, pickles, turkey, eggs, charcoal) = the mass plus the duration of time diveded by the calories burned on the walking.

I'd say 1-2 months based on what you eat.

If you follow this regimen, you should lose between 1 and 2 pounds per week. I would suggest that you focus on your heart rate instead of how far you walk. Keep it healthy; about 120 to 140 beats per minute. Keep that up for 40 minutes, and you'll be set!

Don't forget: you need to eat healthy to keep those 10 pound off!

I started really watching what I eat two weeks ago today and I've lost 14 lbs. I guess a pound a day isn't unreasonable. I used the Sacred Heart diet for the first week and it claims you'll lose 10 to 17 lbs per week. I wouldn't do it for more than a week at a time though. Google "Sacred Heart diet".

From experience I know it wiill take you about 2 to 4 weeks. If you diet and excersise everyday for 40 minutes it could take you about 3 weeks but if you; only go on a diet you could be looking at about 4 to 6 weeks on a diet based on what I have learned in my nutricion and diet classes.

Go to faddiets.com. There is a three day diet there to choose from. If you eat exactly what is on there you will definitely drop 10lbs. in 3 days. The food isn't bad, all though you might still get hungry at times, so use water. It works.

At that slow pace it might take you a while. Start off walking a 15 minute mile and then ease into a jog.

1-2 lbs/week
is the healthy range
(and a range that people can live with and keep the weight off)

so 5-10 weeks

I can think of some very radical ways that would only take a moment. But I happen to be in a bad mood after Bush's mind blowing speech Tonight. Babble, BS, incomprehensible, goobldy goop, more sos sos, we are i hope they get all those beautiful persian women out before they level Iran. I hate to admit it the only way to really win that would last is tocarpet bomb Irand (don't kill their women -- date one years ago) but they are so proud they will certainly build a nuclear arsnel as warp speed. they could be very, very dangerous. the n. korean nut has ATD and and is too busy chasing his harem to stick with a real war program. Either withdraw and beome a thrd world coiuntry or levl irand and possibly pakistan. both are our great enemies. hit first. put a patton in fharge and sent a blitzkrieg force ito each before they and guess what is coming. damn them all.
