In the last 9 months i had stayed in 2 places.....In which place i hav to apply passport?What r the documents required to apply passport? Is it better to take passport now or after joining in job?

You can apply for passport at any time from your PRESENT residential address. U need photographs, proof of DOB, proof of address and application form and fee, Rs. 1000/-

I think you have to apply your passport in the place where you live now. You have to secure your passport now before applying for a job so you have more time to apply for it (passport). The requirements are: three old Id's, birth certificate (authenticated), FBI Clearance, Police Clearance, duly accomplished form with Id's (passport size) and any other requirement required by the officials of the Agency.

Take Birth Certificate, ID and Passport Photo to the Post Office. Its easy...very painless.

u can apply it from either place and the documents required are if u r a student then u should have
1.the bonefide r else transfer certificate is enough
2.address proof
3.passport application

Go to your local United States Post Office and request a Passport Application. Then its a matter of filling it out and going through the 'hoops'.

its best to always try to get your passport as soon as possible.It can take up to six weeks.You need to supply your birth certificate, a drivers license and a social security card for identification.At the present almost any US post office and process a passport and even make your passport photo for you .Its good to have one and especially if you plan in the near future to be traveling abroad..

Please obtain the applicatin form, which are now available in the Post offices, which will show what documents are required to be enclosed. I am passport consultant. Ration card or bank account are NOT necessary. Ration card is NOT accepted anywhere. Any other proof will be OK.
