Well, I'm a guy in high school, and I'm really starting to like one of my female friends. I'm not sure if she feels the same way or not. We have really great conversations, and I flirt with her a lot and stuff, but I just can't tell (her body language and stuff are impossible to read). So anyway, I'm a pretty cocky person (but in a funny way, I don't make people dislike me), and whenever I say something positive, like "I am sooo smart," she'll turn it around and say "no, you're not very smart at all." She'll kind of have a half-smile on her face. Today, she came and sat by me on the bus (she usually comes to sit by me, if that means anything) and while talking, I said "I am the most organized man on earth" and she said "no, you're like the most disorganized man on earth!" I know she's just joking, but does this mean anything, or am I over-analyzing??

She definitely likes you! It's just her way of showing you without coming straight out with it. By teasing you, she's also challenging you. Take it on! What makes her say that? Does she really think so? This is a great oppotunity to reveal your true self. Are you really organized and smart??? Let's see!!!!

I'd say you're over-analyzing. I don't think it reasonably matters too much what exactly she says to you, but it matters more how she reacts around you and around other people. If you want to know if she likes you, A, see if she treats you radically different from other people (specifically guys) and B, you could just ask her.

Whenever I like cocky guys I refuse to boost their ego, even if they're "funny cocky" like you say you are. It's sort of a playful banter thing, and also stubbornness. She (and I) refuse to play into it. It doesn't nescessarily mean she doesn't like you. Besides, how many time to guys act like that toward girls they like. If I had a dollar for everytime a guy jokingly insulted me I wouldn't have to work to pay for college, that's for sure.

everything a woman says you have to read into it... most is just a code language! like if you ask her if shes okay and she says yeah.. and you know shes not.. you better be persistant and keep on asking or she'll think your an as shole for not caring!! it just sounds like she doesn't like cocky men to me... stop being to cocky...

You're over-analyzing and I think you should definitely tell her. You'll regret it otherwise. The second you release it from you lips you will feel so relieved.

Go ahead and ask her out.She's your friend so you'll have a great time.And if really doesn't go anywhere you can still be friends.Just don't get real serious to fast.

yeahI'm 99.5 % sure she is into you... she's waiting on you to make the first move so go ahead...do it... get it over with before she gets the idea that your not into he( since you never had a move) and another guy comes and takes her away ....
