Ecstasy gives one a great sense of empathy. Then you need the techno pop beat to take you away.

No need. I am very good at putting myself in the place of the other. I can see the logic and thought process of the opposition, and it give me one hell of a headache when I do!

A person doesn't need a pill to see the logic, or lack thereof of opposing view points. And just because a person believes differently, doesn't mean their thought process is illogical or doesn't make sense.

Cool icon you have there.
Yes, but I don't need to take a pill. Instead, I have the Holy Spirit, and He has explained quite a lot to me, including other people's thinking. This is crucial in giving an adequate witness ("being instant in season and out of season") because of the first rule of communication.
Rule 1: Never what you say; what do other people hear?

Yes, I would try it. When people think differently than me, I sometimes wonder what on earth led them to think that way. Take the people who believe that Earth is only 6000 years old. I mean, does it take a great force of will to fly in the face of science, or does it take a relaxation of rational thought? Seriously, I'm not being an @ss here.

Oh hell no! I need my logical thought process to get me through 3 more semesters of college Calculus & Physics!

Hell no. That pill would really be messing with your brain in ways you really couldn't understand. It would be interesting though, and might give you the advantage you need to crush them once and for all.

I already have a good sense of empathy, anyway.

Before we were believers, what do you think we were? UNBELIEVERS! We already UNDERSTAND their thought process, which is WHY you should give us a little more credit than you all do; especially those of us who came to the faith later in life, after MUCH deliberation!
