I hate these...they're really painful and almost impossible to pop, and they seem to last forever because they get all irritated and red. What's the best/fastest way to get rid of them??

The area between the two ridges is called the philtrum. A piercing here is called a Medusa. If you would like one side- either the right or left side- of the ridges pierced, that is called a Monroe. Getting both sides pierced is called Angelbites. If you have your mom's consent, you'll be able to find a piercer to do it. Make sure to go somewhere that has a good reputation for sanitation and quality.

acutally, neosporin works really well. It helps kill the bacteria, which decreases the swelling and pain. Also, it sometimes causes a little white head to form at the top, so you can drain it and get it to heal faster. Basically, by killing the bacteria, the neosporin helps get rid of them faster. I highly recommend it.

A dermatologist probably will be the only one to help out, if it's deep cyst and can't be pop. Mine prescribe me antibiotics, and can have a injection, to cool down the inflamation too.
