There is no valid reason for you to drink milk and many reasons not to.
Humans are the only animal that drinks milk past infancy, and then it's not even from the correct species! Too many people are still trying to defend milk's supposed health benefits. Unfortunately, they are either using old information or information obtained from research funded by the dairy association. How many people would enjoy a glass of dog's milk or rat's milk? What makes cows special?
There are only two reasons which I've found to support humans drinking cow's milk. We have grown up hearing that it's good for us and we've grown accustomed to the taste and texture. There is absolutely no nutrition that can not be obtained elsewhere, minus the negatives. Calcium seems to be the major claim for milk. It can be found elsewhere in green vegetables, almonds, and many other sources. Where do you think the cows obtain the calcium to put into the milk? Where do other larger animals (elephants, horses, deer, whales, etc) get calcium? Why we continue to drink cow's milk laced with growth hormones, antibiotics, and who knows what else is beyond me.
Since I've given up drinking milk about 5 years ago my health has greatly improved. I suffer fewer allergy problems, asthma and breathing problems are greatly reduced, I'm sleeping better, and I have more energy.
In the '50s smoking was considered harmless but now we realize its dangers. One person at a time and eventually the truth will become widely known that cow's milk is only for baby cows. Milk is indeed the perfect food, but only for infants of the proper species.
Do some research online and decide for yourself.

Raw milk is milk straight from the cow. It still has all the enzymes and bacteria (both good and possibly bad) in the milk. There are supposedly health benefits with it, but unless you "know your cows" it's a big risk. There are diseases that you can get from drinking raw milk, and it's actually illegal to sell raw milk in the US. But if you own your own cows, you can do it if you want to take the risk.

is this a funny tale?? merely because that's raw...would not recommend that's strong for you. healthy and organic and organic you're saying? Cow's can pee contained in the 'clean' milk, they stand of their own manure at the same time as they milk them and cow's are not widely used to be sparkling animals...yet you imagine that is a 'healthy' position of production? If it turned right into a eating position it would want to be close down. Even for adults it would want to reason extreme issues...for children lack of existence. also once you consider the incontrovertible actuality that 'common' milk is in user-friendly words HEATED to kill germs why do you actually want raw milk except you want to make butter, cheese, or such issues as that. also it isn't secure to provide ANY infant ANY MILK earlier 1year of age.

Raw milk is out of the cow and into your glass. With the buttery cream richness. "Normal" whole milk ain't normal." It has been pasturized and homogenized and refortified(and seperated from the cream). So normal milk is like a "watered down" version of raw milk.

Raw milk hasn't been pastuerized or homogenized and is not easy to find unless you know someone who owns a dairy. It's illegal to sell in most states. You can find milk that hasn't been homogenized, i.e. the cream will separate and rise to the top. Normal whole milk is pasteurized and homogenized. I've lived and worked on several dairy ranches and there is nothing like fresh whole raw milk on your cereal in the morning....heaven!

Raw milk had not been pasteurized or homogenized. Pasteurization kills bacteria by heat and homogenization keeps the milk fats from separating from the liquid. Raw milk is delicious but can be dangerous if there happens to be harmful bacteria in it.

what on earth does this have to do with celebrities.. silly. well as for the milk... me mum grew up right next to my grandmamas dairy farm... and she said it was THE BEST. she used to scoop the cream off the top and make whipped cream. i wish i could taste it. not sure if its healthier for you though... but it then its not homogenized and theres no preservatives. anyways... its real good stuff... you should at least try it if you have the chance.. your lucky if you do. although you should know that it is an acquired taste. but in the states its illegal to sell raw milk. my grandmama now sells her milk to the big companies instead.

Raw milk = milk that has not been pasteurized, that is, taken to a certain temp to kill most of the bacteria that will spoil it.
Raw milk can be whole, skim, or lowfat milk.
If ti's drunk fresh, whithin hours of milking, ti's fine. But I wouldnt' after that. OUr body has plenty of natural enzymes and e.coli to digest food; we dont' need it in our milk.
