I used to live in La for 5 years, but now I moved back to my own country. I really like LA, I've been to Seattle, San Fransisco, Las Vegas, San Diego, Florida, NY, some other city, but I still prefer LA. The weather is warm, not too cold, not too hot and not too windy. Eventhough the crime is still higher than other city, but the city is alive. So many different cultures and people, variety of foods and drinks, 24 hours restaurants/bars, China Town; Korean Town, Japanese Town, Vietnam and Thai Town, and many more .. LA has almost everything. Basically it's just like NY, but NY is too crowded and busy.Yeah, if you wanna have fun, LA is the best. But if you wanna live peacefully, don't try LA. :)
One thing that I dont like from LA, the traffic jam and we really need cars, it's far from 1 city to another city within LA.

Los Angeles can be very fun, but you pay for that fun.
You can go from skiing in the mountains to lolling at the beach on the same day.
There are tons of amusement parks, museums, concerts, cultural events, sporting events, outdoor activities. No shortage of things to do, if you can afford it. If you don't mind sitting in gridlocked traffic for hours getting there. The weather is good, at least in the winter.
The city has it's drawbacks: expensive, crime, dirt and poorly maintained infrastructures.
So we make up for it with flash and glitter.

Los Angeles is a very big city with a lot of problems.
Crime&overpopulation..Hollywood was a big disappointment
Dirty and a lot of street people
But if you stay away from the area where the gangs are you probably have a good time at Knotts Berry Farm or Disneyland.

los angeles is one of the best city to live depending where in L.A u live some parts are really shady. but L.A is a great city, everyhting is close to it like the beaches,mountains,desert. the night life is great. lots of sexy people and also the weather is great.. i been to NY and MIAMI and u cant compare L.A to those cities. NY gets to damn cold and MIAMI has just to much humidity that makes u feel all sticky.

I go there whenever I visit my boyfriend. You will love the vibe and energy of this place. However, living there is a question.

yeah it's fun, but i don't feel safe there... it's an ok place for vacation, but i wouldn't want to live there.
public transportation is also bad, you'll have to rent a car to go places....
