Hi, I used to stay in LA for 5 years, but now i moved back here to my country 2 years ago.. Just want to share my weekend life in LA with you. Well, I lived in west area, Santa Monica. On weekend, I usually watch movie at Century City and Westwood, or take a walk and shop at 3rd street Promenade and Universal Studio Citywalk. They have a late shopping center and restaurants/cafes. They also have performance there.
Venice Beach is also fun for rollerblading and riding a bicycle with your friends, or even shopping.
In the afternoon/evening I like to go shopping at Beverly Center, Rodeo Drive, The Groove, Century City, Kodak Theater and Melrose Place.
I like to go clubbing, usually I go to Sunset Blvd/Hollywood Blvd, they have lots2 of clubs there, such as Garden of Eden, Key Club, The Gate, Sunset rm, Sky Bar, and maybe they have new clubs now. I dont know..
I also sometimes go to cafes, try The Standard on Sunset Blvd and Downtown LA, it's nice. BonaVenture at Downtown, House of Blues at Sunset, etc
If I was bored with all the mall and clubs in LA, I went to Sixth Flags Magic Mountain (rollercoaster) or Universal Studio. If it's Halloween time, I went to Knots Scary(Berry) Farm or Queen Mary.

The only place I can afford to go to is the library.
