it depends on the wattage for the subwoofer, focus on the RMS not the peak handling power and aslong as your amp meets those requirements you should be alright. But too little power will blow your woofer so if your in doubt get another amp.

That will be fine, I am a firm believer in overpowering your speakers, but that setup will work fine if the amp is of good quality...

It will work. AND TOO LITTLE POWER WILL NOT BLOW THE WOOFER, IT'S A STUPID MYTH.
