HI there...prices will vary from location and who performs the spay/neuter. Veterinary hospitals charge the highest fees from anywhere between $75-400 and animals shelters from free to $75.

Most shelters worldwide perform low fee spay/neuter (even free in some regions to qualifying low income recipients). If you reside in the USA you can ring 1-800-SPAY USA http://spayusa.org to locate a participating shelter nearby you. Between $30.00 to $150.00 depending on where you have it done. The human society or ASPCA will do it cheaper than say a vet's office. But some vets may offer special prices for this common procedure. If you go to a specialty felines only vet or a "chain" vet clinic like Banfield, it costs heaps more. I suggest you look for a small practice vet who wil give you personalized service at very reasonable prices for your kitty. You should also think about establishing a relationship between your pet and a vet so that if ever in the future you need a vet on an emergency situation, you have a relationship history established already. I mean, sometimes you don't have ready cash; but if the vet knows you already and you have been a good payer... then it is much easier to talk to him. :)

Oh, along with the spaying, your kitty will need to be vaccinated against rabies at least. That's only between $5.00 and $10.00. Think about distemper shot too - that's important.

Neutering or castrating a male cat is cheaper than spaying a female cat. I had a female and 2 males all done at the same time and the 2 males cost less than the female. It was $60.00 for the two boys and $85.00 for the female. The female surgery is a little more complicated.

It depends on the area you are located in, the Vet your using, or if your area has any low cost S&N clinics. Feb is National Prevent a Litter month. Feb 24th Is Spay Day USA. So their should be some low cost events happening. It's a good idea to call a few vets to get prices too. The ranges are from 20.00 to 100.00.
Lot of difference. Call your local animal control and ask if they know of low cost clinics or can refer you to a low cost vet.

It cost me $54. I know in the state of Kansas (where I worked and lived), it ranged anywhere from $35-$250+. Just check a few vets. Also check and see if there are any low cost spay/nuet places or even free, some vets do that too.

The price varies according to the vet. Male cats are cheaper to neuter than females are to spay. Also many places they require you to have your pets have the necessary shots. If you can take your cat to the humane society to have them spayed or neutered, it is usually much cheaper, as they sometimes have specials to make sure that your pet is "fixed" Please do your kitten a favor and have it done, you will never be sorry, and you will have a wonderful pet.

All depend on the office you to but it should never cost more than 100. Usually closer to around 50.

Sometimes you can find places that will do it for free, by donation or cheap. You really have to search for them but are worth it! If you go to a regular vet they charge anywhere from $20-$100.
