in november [2006] i dyed it black, and i dyed my hair MANY times before that too. and now i want my hair between a medium brown and light brown. i have naturally dark brown/black asian hair. should i wait a couple more weeks? or will my hair be okay if i do it in a couple days or a week..? people say that my hair looks fine but i want to change IT!! im tired of having the same hair color for more than 3 months....

I do mine every 4 to 6 weeks and my hair is fine...Three months is way long enough between dye jobs...

Just condition your hair a lot before (and after) you strip the black out and you should be fine.

3 months is enough time, you can color your way already. I usually wait less then two months, if you like me, you like change, so do it just try to use products to help protect your hair from everyday styling damage.

As long as it is in good condition and not breaking it would be fine to do it now. Just do a deep conditioner afterwards.
