I recently recieved a speeding ticket about a month in a half ago for goin 84 in a 55. thats 29 miles over. puts me in the 4 points.. and i know that means licenses suspension.. adding that im only 16 and only had my license for less the 6 months..

but when i called in to the Recorders court to see my fee on my citation and court date..
they said that my citation wasnt found in their database.

does this mean that they dont have my ticket and that more than likely, its lost and i wont have to be penalized?.. anybody familiar with this please help me out..

its a GWINNETT COUNTY POLICE CITATION

thank you in advance.

Sometimes it takes the officer awhile to turn in the ticket and then it has to be put into the computer. I hope they nail your little butt with community service and suspend your license. If you were mine, you'd wouldn't drive for a long time. Haven't you ever heard"Speed Kills", and not only that there are worse things than death. Brain damage, paralysis, killing someone else(like little kids) Grow up!

I am assuming you got a copy of the citation when you were stopped. The citation should have a court date on it. Did you post a bond? If so, and you did not appear in court, then the bond is forfeited and that is your fine.
Start by calling the Clerk Of Court in Gwinnett County, explain the problem and they should be able to tell you if you are scheduled for a court appearance or if you already missed the court date. You can also call the County Police to check with them. They should be able to tell you the status of the citation.

I even ought to invite this one.... how would you no longer imagine you would ever get pulled over for doing 16 miles over the speed decrease? i'd purely pay the positive and count number it as a lesson. you truly ought to were going slower, what if a baby had run out into the line in the front of you? There are causes for % limits in residential or city parts. opportunities are severe, in case you do strive against it and lose (IE, the cop shows up), you're also responsible for courtroom expenditures, which could run you over the $210 you're already paying out.

It may mean it hasn't been entered in to the database yet. I doubt that a speeding ticket for going 29 miles over the limit is going to just disappear.

you better go to court. Loosing the ticket, even if the cops loose it is no excuse. Driving is a privledge, not a right. When are you kids going to learn? The hard way, just like the rest of us. Better sort it out, or it will be YOU that will be sorry.
