I thought a law was passed that you could now attend a school that is outside your school district. anyone know the rules for this?

..i live in pa...and if it is a private school you can (no doubt about that)...but i am pretty sure you can pay some sort of "fee" or something and the child can attend the school...im pretty sure i grew up with someone who did not live in our town but went to our school....call the school...(or use grandma's address...lol)..

I believe that if you are in, for example, a small rural district with limited course offerings, you can request to take a specific course in another district, but it's quite rare that this happens. There are also temporary situations . . . a student whose family moves into another district but who is a senior is often allowed to finish his education in the same school; also oddball bussing situations, wherein isolated mountain homes, road situations, etc., make it significantly easier for the bus from the neighboring district to pick up a student.
