I do not believe that you can check the status of your driver's license anywhere on-line. You can however contact the Illinois Motor Vehicle Department (CyberDriveIllinois.com) here:
http://www.sos.state.il.us/departments/drivers/drivers_license/home.html
and request your Driving Record Abstract.
There will be a $12.00 fee.
You can also visit your nearest Secretary of State facility in Illinois, complete an abstract request form, pay the $12 fee (no credit or debit cards accepted) and receive the record on the spot.
