Recently, I reformatted the computer and the sound didn't work, I redownloaded and installed the realtak sound driver. but everytime i restart the computer or so, I lose the sound again and will have to reinstall again. How can I fix this?

I tried a lot of things (found some answers here) but none worked...

Perhaps I'm just repeating what someone else may have said, but you might try this: Using the Hardware Device Manager, navigate to your sound card and right click on it. Choose "Uninstall" and exit. Then reboot, and Windows should find the sound card as "new hardware". At this point, direct it to the device driver you have and have it reloaded. Reboot, and see if that does the trick. Good luck.
