First, Contrary to popular belief it is not a License, it is a CERTIFICATE!
Second. pilot is spelled pilot.
There are currently around 600,000 certificated pilots in the US,
I do not know of any data base that has figures for the rest of the world (might be one, I just dont know of it)

The last guy is right, however your pilots license is good for life, but you cant just go fly unless you have a current medical and have had a flight review in the last two years. So there are about 600,000 pilots that meet those criteria. There are however over a million additional inactive pilots in the US. Worldwide stats are hard to come by.

a piolet is the place for 'p' only, a toilet is a place for both big and small business. u do not need a license to use it. but sometimes, u hv to pay.
