I posted this answer on another question earlier, but it was essentially the same
They disagree with us as much as we do with them. Atheism is still a belief system, so I think that discussions about disbelief in God totally belong in the religion forum. Plus they give us a great opportunity to discuss God and how He works. It really is a blessing to have them here, even if it is only to strengthen our faith

In the English language many words have multiple meanings. Spirituality is one of these words. This is a religion/spirituality section, you are correct. Religion, in many contexts,j is the enemy against any kind of spirituality a person could develop. To many people, and the dharmic religions, spirituality is defined as the complete awareness of self.

God does exist. Even scientists, who review everything factually are beginning to see that he does. Scientists do not believe in anything they cannot see, but they do read the Bible, and have received facts proving that theBiblical facts are true. They have stated this time and time again. Even Darwin, before he died, agreed that God existed and that man did not come from monkey.

I have learned a lot from the Atheists on this chat group.
They are a kind of sanity check on some so called Christians who spew out delusional misquotes and misunderstanding of the Bible.

why?
because saying God doesnt exist doesnt mean religion doesnt exist or spiritiality doesnt.
oh
and R&S is probably one of the most active forums on answers.
edit:

nothing in life is a waste of time, it is just us doing something that passes time, often in an amusing elightening way. If the athiests can elighten the religious believers into thinking about why they believe what they do, it is a great way to spend our time.
:) athiest and watching you.

I wondered that too, but technically Atheism (or how ever you would say that) IS a Religion, because it's a belief system. PLUS they like to talk about God not existing.

i'm an exChristian now Agnostic and i come to this forum because i find it therapeutic to confront the Christian conditioning of my childhood by teasing the Fundies thereby diminishing the damaging residual affects of my past religiosity.
