I thank you all for your answers so far. Yes the 4wd on my truck is all electric, all I have to do is turn a knob on the dash. From looking under the truck, it looks like a electric motor ingages the front driver shaft from the transfer case, and yes the hubs are always are ingaged at all times. What ever the noise is, it is not fine because I have this truck for over 3 years now and the 4wd has alway went in and out quiet and never made this much noise.
I mean the noise in 4wd when you go to slow down is so bad sometimes it makes the floor board vibrate.
Thanks again and sorry for the lenght of commet.
Thanks
albert

The bearings might be going out in the front hubs, or the hubs are not fully engaged. Yes those hubs to turn out to free mode when you take the vehicle out of 4WD and backup the hubs release. So what you might be hearing is your hubs are not fully engaged, and when you slow down it creates more pressure on the front drive train causing the terrible noise. The hubs actually have springs in them that push the geared teeth into the hub to engage the 4WD, and if the springs have gotten weak or the geared teeth are damaged the hubs aren't going to engage properly and can casue terrible noise and vibrations.

You did no longer state from the place the noise comes from.... i won't be able to bear in mind how the hubs lock interior the front if that's a rod like a f-a hundred and fifty that pushes on a sleve or it extremely is vaccum (i think of it extremely is vaccum hubs) Unfortuneately with out listening to it, i won't be able to inform you what that's, yet you will could desire to convey it to a mechanic save to verify, as there are gears interior the circulate case that is destroyed and might make noise. Does it make greater noise in 4 low, or will it go in 4 low?

If this truck has been in ANY water check the differential oil. Water in the diff will cause the gears to whine. this whine can be present at a lower level even in 2wd because the axles and gears can turn slightley due to friction in the hubs. they will turn much slower because they are not actually being driven by anything, but you still may be able to hear it

Your hubs should not be engaged all the time, only when you switch to 4 wheel drive, there is a spring in the hub that engages it ,but only when the front drive shaft is turning. When you turn the switch to go out of 4 wheel drive, the first time you back up the front hubs disengage.
