waterproof matress pad.
Try to not give him anything to drink 2 hours before bed. Be sure you are giving him A LOT to drink during the day though so he won't feel thirsty in the 2 hours before bed.

Look around for plastic mattress covers. My daughter still puts these on her daughter's bed for that little accident every once in a while.

I had the same problem with my son, I bought one of the allergy zip on plastic bags from Wal Mart. Something else you could try is taking him to the restroom after he has been to sleep for about 3 hours or right before you go to bed. That is what we did with our son and knock on wood we have been dry every morning for about 6months now. Good luck!!

I bought an allergy plastic cover for my daughter's bed. It zips over the entire mattress and it's plastic. It helps with her allergies, plus it is waterproof since it's plastic! It was so cheap. It makes for cleaning sooo easy.

Just buy a cheap plastic shower curtain... cut it in two lengthwise. Lay the shower curtain down, then a sheet, then the other shower curtain, then another sheet.
If he does happen to wet the bed during the night... just remove the wet sheet and shower curtain, and send him back to a dry bed.

ripped apart a plastic garbage bag and put it under the sheet. Or if you go to walmarts target ect... they have in the section where you can buy depends there called bed liners and you put it under them and it will absorb any urine.. just in case of an accident. And they are not very expensive.
