Are all bipolars hypersexual?

Sammer's answer is totally prejudicial. I am bipolar, and I do get hypersexual, but my husband and i have a good relationship at that time, and the sex is still fulfilling and loving, we just have it way way more often. His answer really ticks me off. There are all kinds of bipolar people, bipolar is an illness of mood that overlies a base personality that can be pleasant or unpleasant. .
I think it is common to be hypersexual, but I'm sure it is not universal. If a person is so hypersexual that they are not able to be faithful, they should be getting their meds adjusted. In that case, it should be obvious in other aspects of their life that they cannot control their behavior.

The deal is that if you're bipolar and are having sex you like to change it up a lot. One minute you may be cuddling and the next you might be giving your partner the roughest sex they've ever had.

Promiscuity is a symptom of both depression and mania, so, in a word, yes. They are very "sexual" but not like a normal person. It's a sick sort of unfulfilling sex drive where it's more about feeling wanted during the down, and burning off steam on the up. Freaky. Sick. Avoid these people when they are unmedicated.
