Who bashes god? I don't. I attack people's statements and poor logic. I never make mention of god except as a concept that theists refuse to let go of, even when they are shown to be in error. Who's the insane one?

I don't bash god. Can't bash something I don't believe in. And I don't attack christians. Sometimes I DO attack their silly questions. The only real attacking I did tonight was to wish we had the thumbs down option on questions so I could use it.
AND...believing in things that don't exist and hearing voices of things that do not exist are also signs of mental illness. Along with discussing non-existant beings. So which hospital do you want to meet at to get our meds adjusted?

Do we knock on your door on Saturday mornings?
Do we preach on soapboxes in the cities?
Do we make up laws that say that you have to NOT believe in a higher power before you can be elected to political office in some states?
Are you the most hated minority in this country?
Do we claim you do not have moral/ethics because you believe? (well.. some might... lol)
Do we doom you (and everyone who doesn't think as we do) to a Hell whenever you bring up your beliefs?
Do we make your children stand up and pledge to the holy Invisible Pink Unicorn every morning in school or else be the odd kid out?
Personally, I love the good theists out there. I say more power to them. It's the ******* that give every group a bad name. They deserve the bashing. It's not the idea of god that gets it. It's them.

is denying that there is a god, the same as bashing a god? nobody is attacking anyone. if talking about non-existant beings is a symptom of mental illness, i guess you'll be checking yourself in to the nut house, right?

What a straw man argument! I don't bash God. I don't even bash people who believe in God. But I stand up against people who are trying to turn the U.S. into a Christian Theocracy. And I stand up against people who want to corrupt the teaching of science to fit their religious beliefs.

Aren't you the one that has been spamming insults against Atheists for the last hour, and we are the ones attacking people? I've seen some pretty strong delusion, but this might take the cake.

I'm agnostic, so I hope you don't mind me answering...
I'm just here looking for answers... Yet most of what I've found on here is an immature pissing contest, from both sides... The voices that resonate within are few and far between... I wish everyone would stop trying to catch flies with vinegar, and use honey instead...

keep trying maybe when you get a little older and experienced you may have an epiphany to Atheism as I had . funny how the brain works sometimes it takes time meanwhile there is an asylum down the street where it is not uncommon to hear the same thing from their inmates.
peace out

LMAO! That is a great perspective! I guess you're saying that Atheist making fun of Believers is like Atheist making fun of the retarded homeless guy down the street. Great analogy!
