to tell you the truth.. breakfast is supposed to be the biggest meal you eat ... because you burn it all off during the day ... and I learned you are supposed to actually eat 6 times a day ! 2 meals inbetween the main 3 and then 1 after dinner ...healthy snacks ... that way you dont eat as much during the 3 main meals ..
just a few things I leaned from a doc

Everybody's right about breakfast.... you can make it a lot bigger and heartier and it won't affect you much, but this is also not going to help with with your after-dinner hunger pangs.
Go ahead and enlarge your dinner and eat it around 6:30-7:00 PM, then don't eat ANYTHING AFTER 7:00 PM!
Then, if you're still going crazy later, drink flavored coffee (decaf if necessary) with sugar substitute to ease your night cravings.
There are a lot more tips like these in The Logic Diet.

Splitting your meals up into six mini meals helps to contol hunger. Also, making sure that your meals have protein in them will give you a fuller feeling. For example, you could eat the special k cereal as soon as you wake up, making sure that you have lowfat milk in it and fruit. Than, between breakfast and lunch, try a slice of toast with alittle peanutbutter,or yogurt. The peanutbutter/yogurt adds protein, which is vital in maintaining muscle mass and keeping you full. Also, the PB adds healthy fats, which are good for your heart and brain. For lunch, you could try eating the veggie sandwich, but splitting it in half and eating the other half before dinner. Also, try putting it on whole wheat bread, which is rich in fiber and keeps you more satisfied. If I were you, though, I would add something else in your lunch, because it sounds light. Try a slice of lean turkey or ham, egg whites, or cottage cheese (something with protein) This will satisfly your appetite so that after dinner, your not as hungry. Drink plenty of water, which fills your stomach, and if you still crave that extra little something after dinner, nibble on fresh veggies, which are packed with vitamins.

Eggs are not fatty, and your whole diet sucks.
Breakfast should be a large meal. Something like 6-8 eggs, discarding all but one of the yolks, and mixed with veggies such as bell pepper, onion and tomato. Also Whole oats oatmeal, or cream of wheat can be good. Watch any added sugar. Add a piece of fruit or some berries.
You should be eating every two to three hours.
Snacks might include: Low fat cottage cheese, low fat low sugar yogurt, apples, celery with peanut butter (no more than 1 tblspn of PB), 1 ounce of a cheese, or some berries.
Lunch should be protein rich, a grilled chicken breast with greens, or a lean cut of red meat grilled or baked with a large serving of veggies.
Snack again...
Dinner should be light...3-4 ounces of a protein such as turkey, turkey burger, chicken, or fish like salmon or tuna. Greens and veggies, possibly a whole wheat or multigrain slice of bread.

Kids (especially toddlers) go through food "jags" where they don't want to eat anything or only want to eat the same thing over and over (like crackers of yogurt). As long as you are offering her healthy foods at mealtimes, she will be fine. If she didn't eat a lot at dinner, keep her plate out until she goes to bed to see if you can get a few more bites in her. Is she teething? From what you say she is eating (yogurt, fruit, yogurt bars), she might be teething and wants the cold/soft foods to make her teeth feel better. Maybe try giving her some cooked vegetables that have been cooled. Also, see how much she is eating at her afternoon snack. If she is really gorging herself, she may not be hungry at the usually dinnertime, but wants to eat later. This happened with my son. We just fed him his snack at 3:30-4:00 and then dinner at 6:00 instead of 5:00. it worked for him. Hope this helps, and good luck!

DO NOT eat any junk food. Drink lots of water.
Eat breakfast.
Eat little meals throughout the day and don't eat any big meals.
eating a slice of pizza every hour is better than eating one whole pizza at a time... soo... yeah
also, don't eat anything sweet(including fruits) after 6pm ish
try not to eat after 6-7ish so you can digest before you sleeep.
walk around a bit after every meal so you wont be sitting on your butt all day.

If you are going to eat heavy durring the day, do it at breakfast, especially if you are working out and trying to lose weight. Have the biggest meal in the morning and you will be less hungry later in the day. If you are not eating much early and continue to work out, your body is going to need more later in the day. Your body needs food to help burn fat and build muscle.

you need to increase the caloric content of your breakfast or eat some snack in between lunch and diner.
nothing wrong with eating eggs. you can't run and hide from "fat" it's in pretty much anything that tastes good and keeps your feeling satisfied. eating healthy is all about ratios, as long as you intake more healthy unsaturated fats the little bit of saturated fat that you do intake is offset.

You need to stuff yourself with fruit.
Diets do not work. 99% of people gain the weight back. No one teaches the animal what to eat and what not to eat. He knows instinctively what to eat. Humans also have the same instinct. The way it works is just eat whatever tastes good and that will be healthy for you and non-fattening. That is why a baby tastes everything. So again whatever tastes good, is good for you. This is why you will spit out spoiled milk.
But wait!!! Man has the technology to create rat poison. It tastes like healthy food (good taste) but kills the rat. So man has done that to you. Note-- any food unaltered by man (uncooked) that tastes good, is good for you. So if you are stranded in the woods, that is how you know what to eat (cooking changes that). So man has created fake fruit. It tastes like fruit that exists in nature but it is terrrible for health, addictive and fattening called sweets.
So it is natural to like real sweets called fruit, like a baby does, but they have fooled you just like the rat. But they do not want to kill you. They want you to become obese so you will buy lots of their foods. This is called GOOD BUSINESS. Learn how to nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. See site below.
