is this because athiests are smart enough not to get put in "foxholes"?

I know of many Atheists who are in the military.

It's untrue, or has been at times. I was an Atheist before I was in the Army, and the whole time I was in the foxholes with bullets flying and shells exploding I stayed an Atheist. I stayed an Atheist through my heart attack last year, and when I die I'll be an Atheist. If I'm wrong and the Christians are right, I'll gladly spend eternity in the Hell I don;t believe in now.... because at least I didn't sacrifice my standards and ethics to play it safe.

There have been MANY atheists in foxholes. It has nothing to do with being "smart enough." Plenty of atheists have fought in wars.

Of course there's athiest in foxholes.I see them pop their heads up all the time.

I know that there has never been an atheist woman in my bed:
Every time they are in my bed they scream "Oh God, I am coming"
(PS: my sister says they are just faking it though.)

No it's because when they get in serious trouble they find their faith in nothing worth nothing and so they become God fearing if not Christians.
