My cat has just had 5 incredibly cute and extremely huge kittens(they were the size of my hand when they were born). She's given birth to many kittens before and she's never had a problem with me touching them, holding them, or looking at them. But just this morning I found one of her babies missing, there are only 4 now. Currently, that kitten is NO WHERE to be seen and I have looked through every single place in my house. What can I do? What's wrong with my cat?

Since your cat has had kitten before, she's aware that her kittens will be disappearing at some point (when you give then away to other good homes). She's probably upset by this and has decided to hide her kittens so you can't give them away.
This is a normal response, one which I've seen many times before. I do Animal Rescue and have seen alot.
Have a lovely rest of the evening. I'm sure that when the kitten is bigger (eyes open, etc.), you'll see/find the kitten.
CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of the five kittens.

This may sound cruel and grose but if the missing kitten was injured or had a defect or something was wrong with it the mother cat will destroy that kitten and eat it.
It is a part of nature. It provides food for the rest of the litter.
I am sorry.

It is normal cat stuff. Sounds like your roomie has let it go too far. Try to keep your door shut all the time and express to their human that you think they are being destructive. This sounds like the cats have not been spayed or neutered. I would bring this up to your friend as a behavioural solution. A lot of people think that declawing is inhumane so she probably won't be open to that. Other than that, all you really can do is keep your space "yours." Sometimes that's tough when you live with devout pet owners who see their pets as a person. If it's that bad you may want to consider other living arrangements for the future. The best you can do for now is get a t.p. holder and keep the counters and cabinets and tables.... clear of anything of yours you would like to keep from harm. Anything fabric of yours keep in your closed up room. Good luck, I can totally sympathize.

Keep looking!!!!
Theres not necessarily something wrong with your cat simply because you cant find one of her kittens.
Maybe she was in the process of moving them to another place because she resented your interference. Look in all the dark nooks and cranies you can for the missing kitten I am sure it will turn up.
it might be better to just leave the mother to her own devices and allow her to feed and bring up her kittens for a few weeks and let her have a nice dark, quiet place to keep them safe.

There is nothing wrong with your cat. Normally, you have to wait a while before you touch the kittens. They're in a box I presume?
Perhaps one of them died, and she ate it. It happened at our house. Why? We don't know.
Stay away from the kittens till she gets herself organized and happy with her kittens.

Jamiee C may be correct. It is a well know fact that when a kitten is born weak or abnormal and the mother fears it will not survive or it indeed did not survive. She will ingest it. It Seems cruel but it's nature's way I guess. After all God did not make ANY mistakes, we do. Concerning her behavior: She's just being protective. Probably because she lost one.

depending how old they are,the kitten may have wondered off and gotten stuck somewhere or it passed away and the mother cat ate it,but i hope you find it,look in every place no matter how odd the spot may seem, like in a closet, tucked into a shoe, under the stove,fridge,couch/chair etc

for some silly reasons wants to be the only one to hold her kittens and went and hid it,hopefully it;s not sick as sometimes they take the sick one away from the others they won;t get ill.keep your ears open'so you;ll hear it when it meows.if not the kitty will be getting around soon to find her sisters and brothers and mama kitty and you...for the time being 'don;t touch the babies 'so she won;t go hide the other 4,,,,,i know your worried sick about the baby;and mama i hope all will be well for you and mama and baby kitties/ i bet their so cute;it;s gonna be hard not to cuddle and kiss them,,,,good-luck.
