I was introduced to this guy by a really good friend of mine. We have been talking for about 4 months and we really like each other a lot. But there is only one problem...he lives in pennsylvania, and I live in michigan. We talk almost every night, and he says he really likes me....Would you trust him? or am i just being neurotic?

I think if you talk to him almost every night, you must have a pretty good idea about him. But it would probably be good to arrange a visit to PA, just to see where he lives and meet some of his friends and family. If that works out then have him visit you in Michigan. The distance doesn't have to be a big problem, but obviously one of you will have to consider moving if you decide to be together. For now, don't sweat it. If you suggest coming for a visit and he hesitates, then I'd start to wonder.

At this stage what is to be distrusting about? He would not be constantly in touch, if there was not some compatibility present.
Enjoy the time you spend together, even if it is just on the phone...

Nooooooo.

Well, I don't trust people easily, at all......
But I certainly think you two should get to know each toher a bit better. Give him a chance, but don't put your heart on it.
Hey, there's no harm in trying, is there?

Why not? If someone tells you that he likes you, why can't you believe him? This is his feeling towards you at the moment of time. If you are confident about your instinct, I don't find a reason why you can't believe him.
