What is a Digital MultiMedia Card Reader? I am going on a cruise and I am trying to find the cheapest way to take a lot of pictures.
So, will this like, help me take them off the camera and store them itself or something like that? Anyone know what it is?

No, a card reader is used to connect your card (which you take out of your camera). You insert the card into the card reader and then plug it into the PC and then transfer your photos over to it.

Most modern cruise ships should have computers available for use, (you should check first though), and you might be able to burn your photos to a CD.(you will need blank ones though). Or the cruise ship may have a photo hut of some sort that could do this for you.
Or...you should make sure you have a number of high capacity memory cards to take with you.
Or...you could buy a portable HDD photo storage device, which will literally allow you take thousands of photos if you wish. You just take your card out of your camera and insert it, and your photos are uploaded to it. And when you get home, you connect it to the PC and upload your files to it.

But your cheapest option would be to see whether the cruise ship has a photo place onboard, which will burn your photos to a CD.
Happy Cruising!

properly my strong component is often my worst high quality, and my undesirable component is often my strong high quality... strong - like you i'm overly straightforward, yet many cases to a fault. For some reason I not in any respect imagine of "cushioning" a number of my truths. for sure this one is powerful too because i'm an truly straightforward man or woman that's some thing that everybody enjoys having round. undesirable - Very aggressive, when I get into some thing, i'm entering into it huge TIME, at the same time as i do not hotel to dishonest or some thing, i'd properly be very hyperactive and obnoxious in certain circumstances throughout it. On a good for this one although, i'm not in any respect prepared to resign no count number how bleek the problem would seem because of this strong aggressive spirit.

You plug it in your laptop or computer and put the card that goes in the camera to save the pictures, and put the card. So it will basically read what's on the card. So you can take the pictures off the card after putting them on the computer!

I got one like it at Sam's Club for less than $15. You take the memory card out of the camera and plug it into the card reader. The card reader plugs into the USB port on your PC.

Do you mean like this? http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=63061067 This is meant for people who do a lot of photography but do not have room or do not have a laptop. It is more convient to store photos on it since it is small. I would buy it just that I have lots of memory cards so it is nessicary for me. This is more for professionals who take a lot of RAW and have no place to store pictures.
