She is cleaning herself. Some dogs bleed more than others, like larger dogs bleed more than smaller dogs and they are just trying to keep clean. You can get panties for her at a Pet shop, Petsmart or other stores and they are cute and even come with ruffles, you can put panty liners in them to soak up the blood. If your not gonna breed her please have her spayed.

My sister does the same thing. When she comes over to visit she hikes her leg up and over her head and licks away on herself. We think shes doing it for both reasons-to keep herself clean and because it feels good. Bad thing is she does this right in front of my kids-and they are starting to do the same.

SHe is probably just cleaning herself. When bitches are in heat, the first couple of days they are moderatley heavy with blood, yet nothing compared to humans. Another reason why she might be licking herself is that she wants to be bred. Many male dogs, while in presence of a ***** in heat, will lick the female's vagina while she "flags" him withher tail and/or throws her butt into him. Given the hormonal increase of your *****, she probably just wants some "lovin'"

She is keeping herself clean. If she didn't then you would have blood all over the place. Animals don't feel pleasure like humans do.

i dont know i am going through the girl thing in my dog too i think that she is cleaning her self though b/c she licks alot (downthere) and i only have a little bit THank God on my comforter Its white so i hope anyways
