You might either have moods swings or bipolar disorder. It is a mental disorder that affect most of the people. Bipolar have two types , depress and mania mode. You are happy for 1 min and next min you are mad.
You should take things easily and try to find something that you are interested to do. That will help.

I hope that you are seeing a psychiatrist for treatment and not a family doctor.
A lot of times the antidepressants work pretty good, then fail during PMS, and you might need to adjust meds then. It wouldn't hurt to go to counseling and get some advice there, and if you can do this, take hubby along, so he is emotionally invested and has the tools to help you get better (work as a team). If your depression gets worse in the winter, try a seasonal affective disorder light box, google this. These boxes are about $300 online, work great. Don't buy it at a medical supply, they charge more, and their lights aren't so bright. The Sunray is pretty good. It could be you were put on prozac, then paxil, then zoloft . . but they are all SSRI meds, and they all work pretty much the same, and you need to try a different class of meds. Sometimes, the antidepressants sort of work, but then wreck your sex life, so your relationship suffers, then you get depressed all over again.
So I think you have a lot of med adjustments to try yet - it's not real scientific on psych diagnosis and treatment yet, so you have to trial and error for a long time to find something. All the best to you!

How often are you seeing the MD who prescribes the antidepressants? Is he a psychiatrist? If not, he should be. It doesn't mean you're crazy if you see a psychiatrist. But they are much more familiar with dosaging and mixing different meds. And until you get to feeling good - all the time - on a med, you need to be seen a MINIMUM of every two weeks, probably more like once a week for the first 3-4 weeks to make sure all is going as it should.

Are you sure it's not hormonal, love? This definitely happens to me at a certain time of the month and for you it just may mean that the hormones are out of balance a little more.
The meds aren't working because there may be nothing seriously wrong with you...not enough to prescribe meds for anyway - I'd like to spank your doctor! Granted I don't truly know you or your situation but I don't believe in prescribing meds for anyhting other than serious chemical imbalance or to get someone through an incredibly hard time in life. Sounds to me like you're a little hormonal or perhaps anxious...but normal.

Are you under the care of a psychiatrist? Another kind of dr can give you meds but other drs don't treat the depression as aggressively as a psychiatrist. You may want to see a therapist (counselor). If you don't have the money for that explain that to the dr.

I dont know man...I suppose it was like that before you got on all the meds?... Some people just have panic / anxiety attacks and can't help it .... I had them for the longest time and then realized it was because of the meds, they can sometimes make things worse. [the meds, xanax, valiums/ kolodopins...etc.] if they help have at em', if not ,they're not worth takin.... And ur boyfriend, if he loves you he'll stay around.... Don't worry about running him off.... Try and be yourself....

Go talk to a counselor or therapist to try and pinpoint the cause of your mood swings. Maybe re-evaluate the use of anti-depressants-sometimes you need to combine them with psychotherapy in order for them to work effectively.
You are not a "drama queen"-if you feel like something is not right, then it's not.

are you taking any other meds that might interfere with the effect of your anti-deps? i suggest you should talk to your doctor or therapist or whoever to find a new course of action. it's best to figure this out now than have something happen later.
