I don't know where you live so I will give you some general places and the names here in WA. state. They may have the same ones where you live.
Here is Horizons, Pierce Co. Alliance, go to the DSHS office and ask about adotsa, Yellow book has treatment centers in there I am sure. Some specialize in teenagers. Just do ant thing and every thing you can to help your teenagers. I suggest you go to what is called ALONON. It is for family members that are living with an addict be it drugs or alcohol. I just lost my 29 year old son to murder. He was involved in drugs in his teens. Help your self so you can support your teenager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all that teen wont stop using until they hit their personal emotional bottom unless they are forced to go to a detox program and such. There are many places teens go for detox. After that is a maintenance program called N.A. go visit their link to learn more information at www.na.og .... NA is narcotics anonymous its a 12 step program. Listen here , the problem; while of course is that the teem is using drugs but more importantly is WHY they are picking up the drug of choice in the first place and that is exactly what NA will show as well as most successful detox programs. Once they know why they do it they will then be better able to handle life on lifes terms in a sober new manner.. best of luck to you and that teen, God bless.......... ps i just read back and saw this is a school project. may i suggest then to go to a chat room in recovery .. tell them what you are doingg and many will assist you in answering more questions in respect of your interest.. type in recovery chat rooms in your search engine or go to www.about.com for even more information. good luck on your project.

Most of the organizations that deal with drug abuse are usually at the local (city or state) level.

On the national level, an organization that works with teens is
Stand.org.

Boot camp, hospitals, DARE. Your local health department should have a mental health program or act as a clearing house for people looking for providers of substance abuse care. They should be able to answer your questions.
