I am looking for free kittens within the greater portland area of maine..anybody?

May I suggest calling your local Animal Shelter? They have plenty of animals in need of a good home.
They may ask for a donation when you adopt a kitten, but that's to help the Shelter to feed and care for all the other animals who are currently staying at the Shelter, in search of a good home.

Hi Kristina ...consider also searching through the free online classifieds such as Petfinder http://www.petfinder.com or the Maine Craigslist: http://maine.craigslist.org/pet/ People post ads every minute on a daily basis so be sure to check back often.
If you live nearby other major cities also consider searching the pets section (under community) on Craigslist: http://maine.craigslist.org/

yes contact me and i will contact my mother in law she has many cats that are outside kitties and been well taken care of. She wants them to find a good loving home. Some of these kitties could be inside babies if you wish,,,,if not they would be fine as an outside kitty.

I think a animal shelter is the best. Most come with all shots and cancer tests.
