Well...if the check is in YOUR name why would the bank process it into his account? So if you deposit a check made out to you into his account, assuming he has funds in there to cover the amount, and then withdraw the amount the check is for the bank will not honor it and will charge HIS account for a bad check PLUS the amount you withdrew. But I assume your BF does not have the money in his account to cover the check. If that's the case the most you could take out from an immediate deposit is $100.
Bottom line, don't do it. Open up your own account.

Endorse the check over to him (both of you sign it).
As soon as you make the ATM deposit, $100 is immediately available for withdrawal (Regulation E). The remainder will have a hold on it until the bank can verify.

You can do that. It's your money. The moment the money is deposited, your can withdraw it, or do whatever you want. Most ATM's have limits though, so you can only take out so much money in 20 dollar bills.

I'm not sure, but what I do know is that getting caught with someone elses ATM card is punishable by jail time and it stays on your record as robbery. So, I'd be letting him do the depositing and withdrawing, just to be safe.
best of luck

With his pin, of course you can withdraw. To deposit, sign your name on the check, and have him sign his.
