No because for one its painful (so I've heard) and two the only way to get rid of it is to get a surgery that leaves you with a scar.

I will be getting more!! 13 so far no regrets. I don't know about everywhere, but in California tattoo shops are inspected regularly. And I have seen tattoo artists who have been more concerned with sterility than nurses. I see a lot of nurses, because I am married to one. I would rather have my Tattoo artist give me an injection than some of the nurses out there.

Of course i wouldn't mind getting a tattoo...tattoos are ways different individuals express themselves. And if people don't like tattoos than that's fine. But for the people who do alot of time the tat is a symbol for something. Others it's just pretty pictures, but I'd love to have the feel of getting a tat one day

i love getting tattoos.
i love the excitement and the anticipation leading up to the tattoo. i love hearing "are you ready?" and the immediate rememberance of the exact feeling and type of pain that a tattoo brings. i like not knowing what part of the tattoo is being applied and being totally shocked when it is finished and it looks 100X more beautiful than anything i could have imagined.

yeah i would want a tattoo esoecially one on my hip of a horse head looking out with a horseshoe around it...as a memorial for a horse that was very special to me....they may look stupid when your old, but lifes too short to be living with regrets and you can always have surgery to remove them...
i recommend getting a small tattoo if its ur first one, then if u really like it then get one bigger or bolder....and get a meaningful one that u will always want so that you will always love it...
good luck!

I got my first tattoo for Christmas. It didnt hurt AT ALL. I love it. I dont care what it looks like when Im 80.. I won't be showing off my body in tanktops when Im that age. To those who say the risk of infection is high - yes, but if you take care of it it will be ok.. just like washing your hands so you dont get sick. ;) To those who are afraid to grow up and regret it, choose something that means the world to you.. dont just go in and pick something off the wall, you will regret it then. I think its a wonderful way to express yourself.

No.. When I was younger.. I considered it because my friends were getting them.. Now I'm in my 50's, no tattoo's and several of my friends have spend lot's of money trying to remove the mistakes of youth.. To each his own.

maybe. depending but most likely not. Reason one is the risk of infection is pretty high. Reason two is that they are painful. and Reason three is that I wouldn't want to be a mom or grandma with a tattoo.
