GAGT. Both are high 15 sec cars with a good driver, but the auto on the GAGT will make it more consistant. If you have an auto on the Tib, there's no competition. If you decide to mod either, the GAGT wins hands down. GM engines are tanks, although the v6's are fairly low output vs displacement, Hyundai's engine, though reliable, aren't built to handle additional power.
in a race of stock trim cars you should never hit the limiter, so the additional 5mph isn't going to make a difference.

Tiburon, because the 1999 Grand AM has a governer that stops the speed from increasing past 180 km/h, wheras the Tiburon doesn't govern out until 190 km/h.

I don't like tiburons and I don't work with american cars. I'll go with the gt though since I'm pretty sure power outputs about the same but the tiburons lighter.
