I suffer constant, frequently agonizing pain and disability from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Palindromic Rheumatism. It's been going on for 2 years now. Last night I was in terrible pain, some of the worst I've ever felt. Lying in bed, I quietly asked for the strength to make it through this flare, which has been going on for months.

I awoke around 1:30, and was completely free of pain. I had none at all. I was able to walk to the kitchen on my own for a glass of water, and I moved with the grace of a teenager.

Of course, it was short lived relief. I awoke this morning in agony, and it's agony I remain in now. But maybe God spoke to me when he gave me those few pain free minutes during the night. Whatever the reason for it, a few minutes of not having pain makes this a little easier to bear.

There is no substitute for reading the Qur'an itself in its entirety - it is the closest we can come to having God speak to us directly and personally here on Earth. The Qur'an answers many questions which are commonly asked by today's men and women. Its scope is wide: from fundamental issues such as the nature of the Creator and mankind's limited free will and reason, to the more mundane such as marriage laws and whom to give charity to.

Yes God talks to me. First of all, in order for him to speak to you, you must have a relationship with him. That means, praying, fasting and reading his word daily. Once you get the relationship, he is able to order your steps. God often speaks to me through his Word because things jump out at me that I never thought of. He tells me that he cares for me enough and his grace is sufficient. It depends...God doesn't say the same thing everytime. That's like you calling your friend and keep talking about apples everyday. Get a relationship with God and no doubt he will speak to you in way that you thought was impossible.

He doesn't talk to me. Obviously he talks to Pat Robertson and George Bush and gives them bad advice. In retrospect, I'll listen to myself.

He tells me that if I hear people talking to me that are not really there or that do not exist that I should seek help from a qualified doctor.

Rarely audibly. And then, it's in a "still small voice". Most often He speaks to my heart through the Psalms (which I read every day) and various parts of Holy Scripture.

"THOU SHALT NOT KILL!!!!"

But most humans are killing billions of animals for food, and killing to get oil from other countries, which implies the death of soldiers and civilians of both countries[mainly the attacked countries though!]
The reaction for this will be:America will be the target for nuclear warfare.....natural catastrophes[earthquakes & fires & typhoons]desertification of land...
For those responsible:multiple reincarnations in war-ridden countries!!!
